MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte’s trust rating saw a 10-point drop while President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s saw a slight decrease, Octa Research said on Tuesday.

Octa’s 4th Quarter 2024 Tugon ng Masa nationwide survey said Duterte’s trust ratings dropped to 49 percent, which is a 10-percentage-point less from the 59 percent recorded in the previous quarter.

Likewise, her performance rating fell to 48 percent, down from 52 percent in the previous quarter.

“This marks the first time both the trust and performance ratings of the Vice-President have fallen below the majority threshold,” Octa said in a statement.

"This series is not just about the two teams playing; it's about reviving the spirit of hockey in Delhi. We hope this will inspire more young players from the region to take up the game," Harmanpreet stated in a press release issued by Hockey India.

Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey expressed his enthusiasm and stated: "This bilateral series against Germany will be a remarkable showcase of world-class hockey. Both India and Germany have a rich history in the sport, and this series will give fans an opportunity to witness an intense competition between two of the most formidable teams in the world.

Octa said these figures represent the lowest ratings for Duterte since December 2023 and reflect a “continuing downward trend.”

On the other hand, Marcos holds trust and performance ratings of 65 and 64 percent, respectively.

Marcos’ trust rating, however,  saw a slight decrease of four percentage points from the 69 percent last quarter.

His performance rating also saw two percentage points decrease from 66 percent last quarter.

“The majority of Filipinos continue to trust and are satisfied with the performance of President Marcos, Jr.,” Octa further said.

OCTA’s survey was conducted from  Nov. 10 to 16 using face-to-face interviews.

A total of 1,200 male and female respondents aged 18 and above were interviewed.
