Malaysia were humbled by Sri Lanka, a 94-run defeat, in their campaign opener. That margin of defeat has effectively compromised their chances of making the next stage.
But Nur Dania Syuhada & Co. can still qualify for Super Four. All they need is a massive win against Bangladesh, a team which defeated Sri Lanka by 28 runs.
As things stand, Sri Lanka lead the table thanks to their superior Net Run Rate, 1.784, as against Bangladesh's 1.647. Malaysia have an NNR of -4.700. The top teams will qualify for the Super Four.
